Today is Chayanne’s birthday. He is 56 years old today!
Chayanne was born on June 28, 1968. On T.V. y Novelas Idolos, Chayanne talked about the day he was born, and he says, “Ella entró al hospital el día 28, pero me tuvo en la madrugada del 29. A pesar de eso, el médico me registró el 28!” (She entered the hospital the 28, but she gave birth on 29 daybreak. In spite of this the doctor registered me the 28!)
I still believe that there is a need for this site, and I have been trying to keep everyone updated on what I find online about Chayanne. Until 2024, it had been quite some time since I posted news on the site, and for that I apologize. I have tried to post on Facebook and X during this time. Fortunately, I now can update the site daily.
Many things have changed over the 25 years since this site was started, and I am trying to go page by page to determine what is broken and needs to be fixed on the site. Some of the Amazon sponsorship links weren’t working, but I think those are fixed. I have at least 15 things that need to be fixed or added. Even some of the things that should be easy to fix have not been easy to fix! I am trying, and I ask you to have faith in me that I can get the site back up and running.

La madre de Chayanne, Irma Luz Arce, falleció a los 75 años tras una batalla contra el cáncer. Estaba internada desde hacía unos días en el Hospital Menonita de Caguas y falleció ayer a las 6 de la tarde. Ella estaba con su familia en el momento de su muerte.

Como ustedes podrán entender, es una pérdida muy dolorosa y por lo tanto pedimos amablemente que, por favor, se respete este momento por el que nuestra familia está atravesando.
Les pedimos una oración desde la distancia como una gran demostración de apoyo y esperamos su comprensión ya que el servicio fúnebre será de cáracter privado.

Chayanne’s mother, Irma Luz Arce, has died at the age of 75 after a battle with cancer. She had been hospitalized for a few days at Menonita de Caguas Hospital and died yesterday at 6 p.m. She was with her family at the time of her death.

In the name of my family and myself I would like to inform you that my mother Irma Luz has left with God. She had been fronting a long and delicate situation but peace was on her side, it was always with her.
As you can understand, it is a great and painful loss and we ask you kindly to please respect this moment that our family is going through.
We ask for your prayers from afar as a demonstration of support and we hope you understand that the funeral service will be private.
Our eternal gratitude to Menonita de Caguas Hospital.

The funeral will take place at the La Paz De Cristo in San Lorenzo while the burial will take place on Saturday at 10am.

Chayanne reacted to the robbery of his parents who were victims in Gurabo and urged criminals to respect the privacy of citizens.
“Yesterday I received a call about the robbery at my parents’ house and, although this news bothered me much, the important thing was knowing that they were fine.
I did not want to comment anything about it, but I think it is a good opportunity to make a call of conscience to all who think they have the right to violate the privacy of individuals, it is not right: I invite you to respect, tolerate, care but above all, to be examples for our children. Instead of doing wrong, we will grow well for tomorrow, ourselves or those who follow us, to get good results,” said Chayanne to El Nuevo Dia, via a press release.
Police reported an escalation in the home of singer Chayanne in Gurabo, but then the artist said it was in the residence of his parents.
According to the police report the residence is located in the urbanization Santa Barbara Valley Road #181 of that municipality.
“Someone broke the rear door of the residence, making access to the interior, appropriating a monitor recorder, security camera and a safe. This residence is owned by the singer Chayanne,” reads the document from the police.
