“Everyone struggles in their work. It’s also about respect for myself and tolerance. Being ready for success and enjoying it — and being prepared when things don’t go so well. It’s also about finding the happiness, those moments of positive energy, and living with that.”

Of his time in Los Chicos, Chayanne said:
“At 10 years old, I was playing. I didn’t know what work was until I realized what I was doing,” he says of his time as a child star.
“You reach an age where you analyze what you’re doing. I had some luck, too.”

As for recording more songs in English, Chayanne doesn’t feel the pressure to go in that direction. He said:
“I don’t like to force the project. I want it to be natural and to be logical. I want there to be a reason for it. I don’t want to do something just because someone else is doing it — or not do it because there’s pressure. I want to be convinced that it’s something good, and I want to really feel it.
