Our brand spokesperson--Latin pop sensation, Chayanne, will
perform tonight, 6/3, at the 2003 Miss Universe pageant, which is being
broadcast live on NBC from 9 -11 PM. His appearance will give Chayanne
tremendous exposure to hundreds of millions of viewers just before the
launch of his first "crossover" album this fall.
This is exciting news for our Dentyne brands that have
everything to gain from Chayanne's continued success as a superstar in
the mainstream market. As a major part of our marketing strategy, Chayanne
has been playing an active role in the launch of Dentyne Fire; promoting
the product, making appearances and starring in our "Red World" TV commercial
scheduled to air this fall. In addition, Chayanne just extended his association
with us to include promotions with Dentyne Ice as well.

Chayanne Wins Three Awards at Billboard Latin Music Awards 2003
Chayanne won Hot Latin Track of the Year with "Y Tu
Te Vas." It also earned Chayanne an award for Latin Pop Airplay
Track of the Year, Male. Grandes Exitos earned the Latin
Greatest Hits Album of the Year.
