Chayanne and Jennifer Lopez Together
During his chat on Univision, Chayanne confirmed that he
recorded a song with Jennifer López, that will be included in her next
album, that will be launched next January 23rd. There's an english version,
"Touch me", and a Spanish one, "Dame". They will also make a video.

Our wonderful and efficient membership director Susie, has
reminded me that we should start preparing our Christmas messages and
baby congratulations messages.
For this purpose, I have set up two new aol accounts. The first - chayannenoel@aol.com

are now open to receive your messages. Make them brief (one paragraph)
in Spanish or English, include your name and the state/country you come
from. I will purchase giant, beautiful cards for each occasion and include

will guest on two episodes of the hit series "Ally McBeal" on Fox and
release his first "Spanglish" single early next year.
No one in the music business can dance like Latin heartthrob Chayanne
-- the Puerto Rican born, platinum selling superstar is renown for his
sexy moves which the New York Times said incite "pandemonium" during concert.
During the next two weeks, however, while taping 2 episodes of "Ally McBeal,"
Chayanne will share his moves with Nelle (Portia de Rossi) when he plays
her dance instructor in the episode "Mr. Bo". He then hires her to represent
him in a suit against his former dance partner for stealing his moves
in the episode "Hat's Off To Larry". The episodes are set to air next
year on Monday, January 22, and Monday, February 5, on Fox.
Chayanne, who is completely fluent in English, has also recorded his first
single in "Spanglish". Three versions of the upbeat "Alive", one in English,
one in Spanish and one that uses both languages, was recorded last month
in New York.

Chayanne In Spain
On Monday evening he had dinner with people from Cadena
Dial, and on Tuesday in their program they just talked wonderful things
about him as an artist and person. They said, that Chay told them that
the future baby is a girl, and they will name her Isadora. That day, they
also made him an interview in Cadena Sol Música. And today, he will be
performing in a special program that Tele5 prepared with the best latin
artists of the moment. The ones that will be performing are: Julio Iglesias,
Alejandro Sanz, José Luis Perales, Ricky Martin and of course CHAYANNE!!!

Chayanne in Argentina
He had a busy time doing promotion. He arrived on Monday
morning, and that day he had a radio interview where some fans could ask
him questions (FM HIT Radio). Then he made an interview for "Megahits"
Daisy's and Marisa's tv program. That night he was at "El show de Videomatch"
where he sang "Boom Boom", "Yo te amo" and "Ay mamá". On Tuesday he had
two radio interviews (Cadena 100 and Radio Uno), and in the evening he
was at "Susana Gimenez" tv show where he made an interview and sang 2
songs "Boom Boom" and "Yo te amo". After that he had dinner with some
friends. On Wednesday morning he had a radio interview at Radio 10, and
he signed autographs. During the afternoon he went to "Versus" and made
an interview and sang "Yo te amo" and "Boom Boom", and also danced a little
tango.

Chayanne Goes on Doing Promotion
Chayanne is in Mexico now, doing promotion of his new album.
Yesterday he was signing CD's and he will attend the tv show "Otro
Rollo". Next Monday 23rd, he will arrive to Argentina to continue
with his promotion tour, and at the end of the month he will be in his
homeland Puerto Rico.

conference on occasion of the launching of "Simplemente", his
new record production, that after 5 days of its appearance in this country,
it restrained sales of 150.000 copies.
Chayanne has answered questions to all the media press about his new work,

It is confirmed that Simplemente (Simply) will be
the name of Chayanne's new album. Management can't confirm yet, where
it will be launched, but they will probably have news about this during
the week.

Chayanne is still recording his new album, but its name
has not been decided yet. They are still deciding which themes will be
included in it, so they still don't know for sure if there will be or
not, some in English. The place where it will be launched, has not been
decided yet and this will happen by mid September or October. For the
time being he won't be doing promotion in Europe as he is still recording
in Miami, and he is too busy, but this schedule can change from one moment
to another.

Chayanne has been nominated by RITMO LATINO MUSIC AWARDS. Chayanne will
be making a performance at the Second Annual RITMO LATINO MUSIC AWARDS,
EL PREMIO DE LA GENTE on October 19th, 2000 at the Universal Amphitheatre
in Los Angeles. These Awards will be broadcasted by Telemundo Network.
Since this is a "people choice" award it’s time to start voting. Spread

No Movie at this Time
Chayanne won't be a doing a movie with Bo Derek. Paula at
Management said that while there are many offers coming in for movie contracts
all the time, he committed to get this new album out now, for this year,
so there is no time to do a movie. If something like this comes up they

Latest News
Chayanne is making his new musical production, which means
consecutive days of recording, it will be followed by a session of
photos from where the title of the new CD will be chosen.
But, any moment in July, the singer will have to interrupt the recording
of his CD to be transferred to France and continues again with the promotion
of the single" Boom-Boom " which is in the list of the 50 most requested
songs of the nation.
Several weeks ago, the Puerto Rican artist was in France recording a famous
TV show, seen by about seven million people, he appears singing and dancing
" Boom-Boom ".
From his offices they inform that in addition the "Chayanne Fan Club"
page will be available on the Internet, very soon, that will be
another connection with his fans.
